The 2026 LearningSCAPES conference committee is now accepting submissions for speaking engagements for the in person conference November 4-7, 2026 in Seattle, WA.
Conference Theme: Learning Without Limits: Alternative Environments for Tomorrow’s Students
Alternative learning environments encourage "thinking outside the box" by using student-focused approaches that foster creativity and innovation. These environments contrast with traditional school models by moving beyond standard structures to embrace individualized learning, problem-solving, and exploration.
Other important considerations for alternative environments include integrating a variety of spaces that support both relaxation and more structured learning activities. Incorporating flexible, open-ended materials—along with intentional use of color and texture—can further engage the senses and enhance the overall learning experience.
LearningSCAPES 2026 is seeking dynamic sessions that push the boundaries of traditional learning spaces. We want to highlight environments that inspire creativity—whether outdoors, in CTE and hands-on learning areas, early childhood settings, or collaborative project-based spaces. Bring us your most innovative ideas for environments that truly spark learning.
All speakers must be available to speak on all or any of the session days as sessions will be assigned time slots.
All speakers MUST register for the conference. A discount of 20% will be offered to selected speakers for FULL conference registrations (does not apply to daily rates).
No compensation will be provided for speaking, expenses, travel, or lodging.
Please note the sessions are to be educational in nature. Sales, product, or marketing presentations will not be accepted.
