21st Century Facilities Master Planning: An Interactive Web-Based Format
For the past quarter century, districts have been providing their students with 21st Century learning environments to respond to 21st Century immersive modes of learning and 21st Century digital native learners. This workshop will unveil the latest evolution of facility master plans responding to the needs of 21st Century district planning and community involvement: a fully interactive, web-based, digital master plan. Ocean View School District’s web-based master plan will be featured as a case study of how to create a truly living document that allows unprecedented access to content that has historically resided in binders on a shelf in the Facilities Office.
